Despite the wheels, I love !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! on BaT. Brings me back to the Bloom County, late-Reagan era of my childhood, when West Germany seemed like it was gonna build the future... which it sorta did, for a decade or so. Reminds me of the A8 I was tempted to buy a few years ago:
In the meantime, I’m back to starting my own company again, picking back up from where I was a year ago. Got a couple new contracts going, and who knows what’s next. If I could hit the reset button on the last year, and just build my own business, I’d do that, but hey. We are where we are, total deja vu.
Gonna sketch some shit for the next hour or so, because it’s time to remember how.

Agreed with your sentiments on the 200, and more importantly, kudos to you on taking the step back out on your own. I can imagine it’s tough, but your work is kickass!

Thanks, bro. I’ve been in Dallas a bunch over the last month; my father-in-law passed 2 weeks ago. I left the “partnership” that wasn’t really a partnership, and now I’m picking up the business I started last year, doing it for me. Who knows what the future will bring. Gotta do some kickass work on what I’e got going, but I’d like to think that at this point, I know how to make some good stuff.

doesn’t it?! The shop does good work so I assume it’s been pretty well sorted. Still a bit $, but so clean

Sorry to hear that. Let me know if you’re back up here sometime under less unfortunate terms and want to grab a beer.
Quality certainly doesn’t seem like it’ll be an issue for you . Getting work in the door is certainly much tougher than just doing good work, but it’s the easiest way to do it! I’m in the planning phases of what will probably be a pretty long con to go out with a buddy on our own, so I get where you’re coming from, although I’ve still not quite committed my income to it (yet).
